They told us that he needed to be socialized but we found him pretty comfortable around us when he got home. He loved to chase after laser pointers and had a favorite little stuffed toy puppy that he really adored. He never liked catnip and liked to tease his older brother, Winston, a Senegal parrot. Princeton always lived indoors and had homes in Daly City and Oakland.
He also had an older sister, Viveca, a sweet yellow Labrador Retriever but he was too scared to get to know her. He was my constant furry companion for 17 years. He would meow loudly every evening to let me know it was time to go to bed, stay with me until I fell asleep, and then would wake me up every morning at around 6 am sometimes 7 on the weekend.
He would greet me at the door when I came home from work. He always wanted to be in the same room as me and would head butt me to let me know when he wanted attention. Sometimes he would sleep on me. He was pretty much in charge of the house.
He was the greatest kitty. I miss him already and we will always remember him. See you at the Rainbow Bridge, Bubba!
BubbleToes was born on September 19, , according to our niece. We adopted her from our brother in after our nephew became allergic to cats. She came all the way from Southern California and was previously named Princess. We called her Bubble for short. She kept us company and preferred to sit on one of the chairs in the kitchen. We put a flower cat bed on the chair so that she was comfortable. During the pandemic, my sister took online craft classes from Mrs. Bubble was famous in Kansas since she actively participated during these Zoom classes.
